US-headquartered global software engineering and digital solutions company Svitla Systems has acquired Australian boutique software firm Kiandra IT, according to Markets Business Insider, marking its formal entry into the Australian market and broadening its delivery footprint across the Asia-Pacific region.

Kiandra IT employs 45 professionals across Australia and carries more than 30 years of experience serving highly regulated and mission-critical industries. The firm is recognised for its expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies and AI-accelerated software development, and was recently named OutSystems Partner of the Year for New ARR Growth through its partnership with the enterprise AI low-code platform.

The acquisition strengthens Svitla's capabilities across AI, low-code and code-generation application development, Microsoft-based enterprise systems, and project-based delivery for sectors including healthcare, financial services and government.

CEO and founder Nataliya Anon said the deal strengthens our market entry into Australia and the Asia Pacific region, deepens our AI low-code and Microsoft engineering capabilities, and enables us to bring AI-enabled software engineering to market through a mature delivery model.

Kiandra IT co-founder and CEO Cameron Brookes said joining Svitla allows us to preserve that approach while expanding our reach beyond Australia, adding that clients gain access to global scale and advanced engineering capabilities.

Kiandra IT will continue to operate under its existing leadership, ensuring continuity for clients and staff. The transaction supports a two-way growth strategy, extending Kiandra's specialist capabilities into the US market while offering its clients access to Svitla's international delivery network.
