Entries for the Engineering Excellence Awards 2026 closed on 29 July, with Ireland's engineering community having submitted across 26 categories spanning civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering through to renewable energy, sustainable engineering, and people development. The shortlist is set to be announced on 21 August 2026, ahead of the awards gala on 21 October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, where Ireland's top engineering companies, teams, and individuals will be recognised before hundreds of senior industry executives.

The Engineering Excellence Awards 2026 is accepting entries until 24 July, inviting Ireland's engineering community to submit across 26 categories spanning civil, mechanical, electrical, and biomedical engineering through to sustainability, smart infrastructure, and people development. With finalists set to be announced on 21 August and the awards gala scheduled for 21 October 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, the deadline represents the final opportunity for organisations and individuals to have their work recognised at national level.

A member of RICS, SCSI, and CIArb, McNamara contributes a practitioner's command of engineering project delivery and quantity surveying to the evaluation of entries across the awards programme.
