UK engineering and technology company SES has appointed Ash Delsol as customer strategy director for its London and South region, according to the Solihull Observer, strengthening its leadership team as the Solihull-headquartered firm continues to expand its operations across London and the South of England.

Delsol brings more than three decades of experience in client relationship management and business development, having previously held senior positions with major mechanical and electrical contractors including Hotchkiss Limited and Grant Walker. Working within SES Engineering South, he will focus on developing strategic customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across commercial, healthcare, data centre, justice and defence sectors.

Delsol said: "SES has a strong reputation for technical excellence, collaboration and delivering best value for customers across complex projects. The business has exciting ambitions for the future and I'm thrilled to be joining the team at such a pivotal point in its growth. Building trusted relationships has been at the heart of my career and I look forward to working with colleagues, customers and partners across London and the South to help drive sustainable growth and create long-term opportunities for the business."

A company spokesperson said Delsol brings "an exceptional depth of industry knowledge and a proven track record of developing strong customer relationships and driving business growth," adding that his experience, market insight and extensive network make him "an invaluable addition to our leadership team as we continue to strengthen our position across London and the South."

The spokesperson added that the appointment "further enhances our ability" to build long-term partnerships and deliver outstanding outcomes across the projects SES undertakes, supporting continued growth across the region.

SES specialises in engineering and technology solutions for major construction and infrastructure projects across the UK. The appointment of a dedicated customer strategy director for the London and South region reflects the firm's intent to deepen its market presence in one of the UK's most active construction and infrastructure delivery corridors, where demand across data centre, healthcare and defence sectors continues to grow.
