PanelDuct won Manufacturing Engineering Project of the Year at the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards last month for its bespoke plenum solution delivered to Pfizer’s Grange Castle facility. Their precision-engineered system reflects a strong commitment to innovation, efficiency, and high-performance manufacturing standards.

PanelDuct’s bespoke plenum project was recognised for redefining what modular HVAC manufacturing can achieve through advanced coordination, pharmaceutical-grade construction, and accelerated off-site delivery.

Combining precision engineering with digital integration, PanelDuct designed and manufactured ten custom-built plenums featuring Class D airtightness, modular perimeter frames, and tool-free flyscreens. 

Completed in just 13 weeks, the solution enhanced airflow performance, improved hygiene in controlled environments, and significantly reduced on-site labour, material waste, and disruption—demonstrating how smart manufacturing approaches can elevate both efficiency and quality.

“PanelDuct impressed our panel with its innovative engineering approach, seamlessly combining modular ductwork, BIM coordination, and advanced airflow and drainage solutions. Their plenum system set a benchmark for energy efficiency, installation reliability, and high-performance engineering,” judges said.
