McLaughlin & Harvey Holdings Limited has reported a turnover of £612 million (€710 million) and a profit before tax of £18.2 million (€21 million) for the year ending 30 June 2025. The group employs 834 direct staff, supported by thousands more through its UK and Ireland supply chain.

The business, which spans building and civil engineering contracting, property development, and wholesale distribution, achieved Construction and Civil Engineering turnover of £578 million (€670 million), with a cash balance of £148 million (€172 million) and net assets of £67.35 million (€78 million).

Philip Cheevers, Group CEO, said: “I am incredibly pleased with the financial performance of the group. Every employee should be very proud of the overall group performance in quite turbulent economic conditions. The construction and civil engineering businesses benefit from a diversified portfolio of work in both the private and public sectors.”

The group’s sector focus includes defence, healthcare, commercial office and life sciences, energy, advanced manufacturing, aviation, education, industrial, commercial, rail, and ports and harbours. Cheevers highlighted that individual trading businesses such as Interactive (Ireland) Limited and Rocklyn Engineering Limited contributed positively to overall performance.

McLaughlin & Harvey maintained its Platinum membership of The 5% Club, underlining its commitment to earn-and-learn schemes to develop future industry leaders. Its annual health and wellbeing roadshow visited 19 sites, providing occupational health checks to 1,079 participants and appointments for 876 employees, supply chain partners, and client workforces.

The group also engaged 3,283 students across schools, colleges, and universities, while delivering 120 volunteering hours supporting food poverty, homelessness, environmental projects, wellbeing, and local community initiatives.
