Kane Group has secured a multi-million-pound MEP contract from Sisk to deliver the full mechanical and electrical installation package for the redevelopment of Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, including a new 146-bedroom Radisson RED hotel and the redevelopment of the existing stadium stand; the contract value is described as multi-million-pound and no precise figure is disclosed.

Kane Group is a Belfast-headquartered multi-disciplinary building services contractor founded in 1967, with offices in London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin, employing approximately 250 people and generating annual turnover of approximately £55 million. It operates an offsite manufacturing facility recently expanded to 20,445 sq ft. The contract scope covers design, digital engineering, BIM, offsite manufacturing, installation, commissioning and maintenance within a live sporting venue.
