Engineering Resource Group, Inc. (ERG), a Mississippi-based MEP engineering, consulting, and design firm, has secured a strategic investment from Godspeed Capital Management LP, a private equity firm focused on lower middle-market Defense and Government services and technology.
The partnership establishes ERG as Godspeed’s platform brand for MEP engineering, consulting, and design across Mississippi and the broader Southeastern United States.
ERG’s principals, Chad Moore and Jason Grossi, will continue leading the company while retaining significant ownership, supported by long-term senior team members.
Both ERG leadership and Godspeed plan to expand the firm’s MEP offerings, increase its regional footprint, and extend its client base, building on its track record of excellence and operational capacity.
Chad Moore acknowledged that Godspeed’s capital and operational expertise will enable ERG to grow its capabilities while maintaining high service standards.
James Reid, a Godspeed principal, noted that ERG has been a strong regional leader in MEP engineering and consulting, and the partnership will further strengthen its market position.
Jason Grossi highlighted that Godspeed’s approach aligns with ERG’s culture and values, supporting growth without compromising organisational standards.
ERG marks Godspeed’s eleventh platform investment and its fifth focused on engineering, reflecting the firm’s strategy to build scalable engineering platforms operating at the intersection of public and private sectors.
Financial advisory support was provided by PSMJ Resources, while legal counsel was provided by Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz P.C. and Moore & Van Allen PLLC.
