Éadaoin Clarke turns education into enterprise with construction firm success

What began as a civil engineering degree at Dundalk IT has become the foundation of a flourishing construction business for Éadaoin Clarke. After returning to DKIT in 2011 to study Engineering Entrepreneurship, she launched Curran Construction Services EMC Ltd in 2019—offering project management, quantity surveying, and health and safety services.

From working on major infrastructure projects to now lecturing at DKIT and championing STEM inclusion, Clarke has combined on-site grit with academic insight. With plans to scale her business and eventually lead the family firm, her journey underscores how education, resilience, and leadership can reshape an industry.
