The Engineering Excellence Awards 2025 official video showcases the innovation, dedication, and technical expertise that define Ireland’s leading engineers and engineering firms.

The awards highlight organisations and professionals delivering cutting-edge projects, pioneering solutions, and outstanding contributions across multiple sectors, from civil and mechanical engineering to software and manufacturing innovations. 

This programme recognises those driving progress and setting new benchmarks for excellence in Ireland’s engineering industry.

Categories for 2025 include Engineering Project of the Year, Engineering Firm of the Year, Civil Engineering Project of the Year, Manufacturing Engineering Project of the Year, Software & Electrical Engineering Project of the Year, and Mechanical Engineering Project of the Year, among others.

"Huge benefit. It shows all of the work that all the various parties put into it. All of the staff at the city council have worked so hard over the last number of years to bring this project to fruition," A Senior Engineer from Galway City Council said, reflecting on the value of recognition.

Speaking after the win, the Managing Director of Engineering Design Consultants expressed pride in the team’s achievement, noting that being recognised among peers and competitors made the moment especially meaningful. 

“It’s great to come out on top, it’s real proof of all the continuous innovation and improvement we put into everything we do. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” the Managing Director said.
