Innovation in Engineering

The Innovation in Engineering Award celebrates engineering organisations that have demonstrated exceptional creativity and effectiveness in leveraging existing technologies or developing new services or processes within the past 18 months. Whether it's through the implementation of innovative software, the introduction of groundbreaking services, or the adoption of cutting-edge engineering methods, if your initiative has yielded significant results, this award is designed for you. Submissions must be made by the end user, showcasing how they utilised the nominated technology, service, or process over the previous year.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Innovation Outline: Detail the innovation or technology you have developed or utilised, highlighting the achievements to date and the potential impact if it were adopted more widely.
• Involvement of Staff: Identify the staff members involved in the innovation process, outlining their roles and relevant skills.
• Objectives: Explain the objectives behind introducing this innovation and how these objectives were successfully met.
• Outcomes and Results: Outline practical applications of the innovation, providing tangible evidence of the benefits it has delivered beyond standard methods where applicable.
• Excellence: Elaborate on why you believe this innovation or use of technology deserves special recognition for this award, emphasising its exceptional qualities.
• Supporting Statements & Testimonials: Include any additional statements or facts that support your entry, including client testimonials where available, to bolster the case for your innovation's excellence and impact.
